We are a full service anatomic pathology laboratory. All of our pathologists are certified by the American Board of Pathology in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Blue Mountain Pathology has been providing clinical laboratory medical directorship for hospitals and other laboratories in Eastern Oregon, Idaho and Washington for more than 25 years. Our services include:
- Surgical Pathology – Including all types of tissue specimens and biopsies
- Frozen Section – Processing, consultation and interpretation
- Immunohistochemistry – A wide variety of special stains performed on-site
- Cytology – Both SurePath™ liquid-based PAP tests and conventional PAP tests, utilizing the Focal Point Slide Profiler
- Non-Gynecologic Cytology – Fine needle aspirate (FNA), urine, washings & brushings, and other effusions
- Autopsies
- Medical Directorship – Available for hospitals and outside clinical laboratories
- On Call Pathologist - 24 hours per day, 365 days per year
