Dr. Helou joined us in 1981.

Originally from Tripoli, Lebanon, Dr. Helou completed his undergraduate work at Portland State College (University), Portland, OR and American University of Beirut, School of Medicine in 1969. His professional and postgraduate work was completed at the American University of Beirut, School of Medicine. His pathology residency  was completed at Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Internship and Residency, University of Rochester Medical Center, Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, New York in 1981.

Certifications: American Board of Pathology; Anatomical and Clinical Pathology and ECFMG.

Dr. Helou is licensed in the states of New York and Oregon.

He is a member of the College of American Pathologists, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, Oregon Medical Association, Oregon Pathologists Association, Pacific Northwest Society of Pathologists.
