Blue Mountain Pathology welcomed Mark A. Aldape, M.D. to our staff in July of 1998. Originally from Seattle, WA, Dr. Aldape completed his undergraduate work at Stanford University in 1986. His graduate work was completed in 1993 at the University of Washington. His pathology residency and fellowship were completed at Oregon Health Sciences University, 1997 and 1998, respectively.

He serves as medical director for the Grande Ronde Hospital and is a consulting pathologist for St Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, OR, Good Shepherd Community Hospital in Hermiston, OR, and St Elizabeth Hospital in Baker City, OR.
He is a member of the Oregon Medical Association and a Fellow of the College of American Pathology and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
He has special interests in the fields of dermatopathology, neuropathology and transfusion medicine.
